Popular coastal cafe up for sale

A seafront cafe in Aberdeenshire is on the market for offers above £325,000.

Molly’s Cafe Bar in Stonehaven was described as a “thriving” establishment by Matthew Cohen & Associates, which is managing the sale.

The cafe, on Stonehaven’s promenade, looks out onto the nearby bay and is surrounded by a clutch of other retail sites, including The Bay Fish and Chips, Aunty Betty’s ice-cream shop and Stonehaven open air pool.

“The current owners have built the successful business in the popular coastal town of Stonehaven and forms part of the increasingly popular beach promenade with Scallywags soft play centre and the Stonehaven outdoor pool, leisure centre and recreation grounds,” Matthew Cohen & Associates said.

“The business will be sold with the busy website and existing contracts and bookings. The owner has invested in improving the kitchen equipment and other improvement.

“The promenade directly overlooking the coastline provide a inviting in-view and outlook, as well as allowing an abundance of natural light into the shop.”

Molly’s Cafe Bar is unlikely to close during the sale process, with current bookings passing onto the new owners.
