Asking Price
£7k
Description
small, but growing and established broadband ISP. circa 160 home broadband customers and their growth rate for the last 4 months has been 32, 37, 25 and there are already 18 pending orders to go live in February (taking us up to the 11th Feb)This opportunity could be ideal for a small IT based business who is wishing to expand their customer base, or companies or individuals wishing to expand into this service area. Not selling the limited company, but rather selling one operational aspect of the business. This should minimise the complexity of the sale which would not really be warranted by the asking price. Included in the offer is the following:The domain. The customer base (160+ & rising as per growth figures from previous months). The fully integrated Website (based on Mambo openCMS) with all existing integrations etc The website is based on mambo (opensource CMS) and is based on a rocket theme design. The web hosting of the site for 3 months from sale to ensure continuity for the website and the consumer email addresses. (Further web hosting or the opportunity to buy-out the hosting account available at a negotiated price to be agreed in good faith). The brand (all master imagery). Marcomms (2 Banner ads (i gif and 1 flash 640 x 160) and 1 Print Advert) - With contact details for the design agency in case of minor amendment requirements. 0800 telephone number with routing (paid up to August 2008 - requires manual top-ups of credit - will be handed over with whatever credit is left on it.). A full handover document, 1st month support via email. The business currently has an extremely credible rating (Number 2) on an independent ADSL broadband review site which generates a lot of interest and business. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody wishing to enter this space with a hugely credible business to further launch from. As a reseller the buyer will need to sign a reseller agreement with the wholesale company (highly respected wholesale ISP) which is free. General tasks that buyers will be required to fulfil include1) Processing of migration orders (although this could be automated if you have the necessary technical skills)2) Confirmation of connection activations3) First line support - This is currently managed by the owner, but isn't compulsory - but is a real factor in the success of the business so would be recommended. 2nd and 3rd line support is managed by the wholesaler who provides 24/7 support. In essence you can filter minor fault / admin issues before managing the comms flow betweeen End User and the wholesaler.
