Under current ownership 3 years and for sale due to other business interests, unusually the business has been run under management and with very little input from the owner. As such we believe the hands on approach would significantly alter the financial performance of the business.
Former public house which has been very extensively and tastefully restyled to cater for both Indian and English cuisine.
At present they cater for the upper quartile income bracket with emphasis on quality, pleasant surroundings and service. Sales split is 1/3% wet, 2/3% dry with the English menu proving popular at lunchtimes and the Indian style in the evenings.
Within the area some competition exists but in their market segment they are the recognised name.
As well as the dual menu they provide a popular takeaway service, there is a brewery tie for beer and other drinks. The current staff benefit from the living accommodation available. They regularly serve 120 covers on a Saturday. The sale would involve an assignment of the lease.
