The business, which was founded by our client 21 years ago, is only now being reluctantly offered for sale as he wishes to retire.
The business is currently staffed by approximately 35 part time cleaners with the majority of customers being within a 30 mile radius of the town and all cleaners being local to their work place.
Our client carries out low level window cleaning as well as the cleaning of offices, shops and garages on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as required by the customers.
The business only does minimal advertising with new work coming from personal recommendation and word of mouth.
Each customer site is individually equipped for its own needs and these include:
- Vacuum cleaners
- Scrubber dryers
- Carpet shampoo machines
- Access equipment
- Cleaning products
Our client is willing to work with a new purchaser for a period of time to ensure a smooth hand over and introduction to existing customers and staff.
Net turnover for the year 31st March 2007 was £280,804, although this has since improved. Net profit for that year was £52,010 but current projections indicate that this is now circa £100,000 per annum.
